About Us
Cedar Water, LLC was founded by Matt Bennett to assist organizations (as well as landowners, land trusts, non-profit organizations, businesses and governmental departments optimize organizational flows and shift land-use-planning to create better ecological, social and financial outcomes. Cedar Water, LLC provides a strong technical foundation for projects, with in-house expertise backed up by a network of professionals in water management, earthworks, agroforestry, real estate, education and banking.
Leading & Educating
Service and education are important values for Cedar Water, LLC. Matt Bennett serves on the Board of Directors of the Permaculture Institute of North America, the professional association for Permaculture practitioners for the continent. Mr. Bennett also currently teaches Permaculture at Cornell University’s online extension program. Success Stories
The Permaculture Institute of North America raised funding and expanded staff to create more services for members, including: a podcast, upgraded credit card services for automatic membership renewal, a New Leaders in Permaculture Fellowship Program, and more.
Beyond Organic Design developed comprehensive proposals to bring Permaculture education into public high schools and fundraising marketing materials.
Reed’s Organic Farm educated staff in the basics of Permaculture Design; initiated an on-site composting program to bring large amounts of organic matter to build up the Pine Barren sandy soils; began memorial tree planting program to raise funds and create windbreaks on the very open 80 acre site.
